Rethinking Connection in Connecticut
Honey Hangs was born from a desire to rethink the way we create connection in Connecticut. Co-creators, Jayme and Michaela share the desire to bring people together in a way that Connecticut has never seen before. While we know it can be tempting to believe the grass is greener in some other place, (ie, another state,) we believe that it is important to bloom where you are planted and to create the things you wish existed.

Jayme has spent the last year creating a community through @connecticuthoney. She has enjoyed promoting local businesses and cultivating relationship with local business owners. Jayme said, "I've loved getting to know local business owners and hear their stories and their love for the areas they serve. Their passion has transferred to me and I want to be a catalyst to see pockets of community grow all over Connecticut." Jayme also loves the connections she has made her with her highly engaged audience. She is excited to take the next step and bring her followers together in real life.
Michaela is recently transitioning from owning a vintage furniture shop in Hartford, CT, and she's ready for her next adventure. Owning the store made her realize that incredible relationships can be formed when you bring people together for a common purpose. Working on this project with Jayme seemed like the perfect next fit for her to bring her visions to the next level. She also is creating a health and wellness community through @wildlykale focusing on female hormone and skin health.
